I own/run a small business and see issues that are pressing to us all. Healthcare is a huge issue for us all, we need to find a way to have affordable health insurance and I think working outside of the box is called on for this issue. NFIB (the voice for small business) is one way, they would like to see many small businesses (in the same category ie...plumbers, realtors, insurance agents...) that could get together and purchase group health policies as one! Imagine the relief for the many out here trying to pay health insurance monthly! Premiums need to come down! Also, in Wisconsin the legislation should pass tax deductions for Health Savings Accounts. There are many options to look at these are only a few, mandates need to go. Across the district many voters have told me they are disgusted with the spending in Madison and where their hard earned tax dollars are going. I want to take a 'common sense' approach to government, hold people accountable for their spending, ask "where is the money going", fill the holes in the bucket before pouring more in! |

I am a small business owner currently and work in that business on a daily basis, I have vast experience in the medical field. I am the former Executive Officer of Northland Area Builders Association, serving in that position for 3-1/2 years. |
